“RIGHT SOLUTION FOR DISASTER GRISTLE STATE”
Background
Nowadays, the world’s condition need the attention all of the people, especially for the students as an intellectual group, because students give the solution with their knowledge and based on the literature. Therefore the idea to held International Symposium must be a priority and must be held as a form of knowledge application from researcher and students specially. This symposium is the first international symposium that held by Student Executive Board of Student Family to solve the problem in country and the worlds, especially in disaster mitigation. This symposium will be held also to form ASA (Association Students of ASEAN). This organization must be a organization of students in ASEAN to do discussion and give the idea to solve any problem in the ASEAN area included to the disaster problem in the world.
Communication information system based on cooperation and social capital with stakeholder’s partnership approaches (government, businessmen, university, research and development institutions, social institutions, students etc) will contributes to the good future for the world.

Objectives
This INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON DISASTER MITIGATION (ISDM) 2011 has purposes
- To form a concept of disaster mitigation generally in Indonesia.
- To give the solution for solving disaster effect in world and Indonesia especially that known as earthquake and tsunami danger area.
- To form the new paradigm to the people about disaster mitigation.
- To improve the responsibility of future life.
- To reduce the victims of disaster in the world.
- To collect the ideas about disaster mitigation.
- To form Association of ASEAN Students.
Then INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON DISASTER MITIGATION (ISDM) 2011 consists of three forms of activities, namely:
- International Seminar
- International Workshop
- Establish of Asean Student Association
